ENRIO Congress for Research Integrity Practice: Call for Papers
The ENRIO 2020 Congress on Research Integrity Practice opens a new European congress series that brings experts together to critically explore and develop research integrity practices. The aim is to work towards an increasingly responsible European research culture. ENRIO 2020 is organised by the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO), the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity TENK and Aalto University, Finland.
The topics of ENRIO 2020 include but are not limited to:
- European data protection laws and their implications for research and research integrity practices
- Current issues of open science and research integrity
- Whistle-blowing and the whistle-blower protection directive in the EU
- Prevention, investigation and handling of research misconduct
- Research integrity training and knowledge building
- Plagiarism and effective prevention measures
- Research assessment, research funding and their implications for research integrity
- Ethics and ethical standards of Artificial Intelligence
- Responsible research communication, scientific publishing and authorship issues
- Discipline-specific questions, e.g. innovation and corporate collaboration and ethical review in the humanities and arts
- Horizon Europe and EU funding for research integrity and research ethics: the Science with and for Society programmes
The call for papers is now open. We invite abstracts for
- Research-oriented presentations on research integrity
- Presentations of European research and development projects and
- Workshops pertaining to the topic of research integrity practice.
The call for papers closes on 1 February 2020 for the workshop proposals and on 17 February 2020 for the research and project presentations.
