ENRIO’s First Congress on Research Integrity Practice
ENRIO’s First Congress on Research Integrity Practice
The first ENRIO Congress is held in Finland on 5–7 October 2020. The ENRIO2020 Congress is aimed for research integrity officers, research directors, science funding organisations, research networks, and other professionals in the field of research integrity and research ethics, members of ethics committees, and university teachers and researchers. The Congress presents an excellent opportunity to keep abreast of the latest thinking and insights on current issues and best practice in the field of research integrity, and expand your network of colleagues across Europe.
In Prague, ENRIO members were asked about the themes they wish the congress would focus on and issues they face in their everyday work in research integrity. There were some recurring themes that the Board selected to work as the keystones in preparing the congress programme:
- Research and personal data and privacy management in Europe
- Cross-border cases and investigation on research misconduct between European countries
- Implementation of training techniques
- Protection of whistle-blowers and the handling of anonymous complaints
- Open science and research integrity in Europe
- Research Integrity in interdisciplinary projects
- The intersection between research ethics and research integrity
The Congress is organized in partnership with Aalto University, the Finnish Ministry of Culture and Education and the City of Espoo.
